Yes VDMSound is no longer activiely developed. cannot open file "mfc42ud.lib"?? You were right It was using Unicode release version of MFC library whereas I,m using the Visual C++ with Win95 on my home pc. It looks that borland was used to compile 16bit part of vdms to make it working with windows 9x.
