PLEASE PLEASE HELP????? I often reformat the card because it was always a point that the cards do sometimes lose their contents and that frequent reformatting may lessen the risk. I haven't seen any either, but I've seen a lot of posts where it happened that way. Cause The AC adapter is not connected.

I never, ever delete images using the computer. However, I'll try doing what you suggest about re-formatting the card in the camera. I have not used it, but see it reviewed with good results.Click to expand... My only concern with what you say is that according to my manual, the message "Read Error" should relate to the memory card. I noticed that pictures I had taken earlier would randomly say "read error" and only show a grey screen, and as I took more pictures even more old pictures would become My message is the "?Read Error" one which, again according to the manual, means that it is a camera fault, which sounds a lot more serious. Card storing and reviewing fine in camera - put card in card reader and it will no longer work in either the camera or reader.

To confirm which pictures are recoverable or not, you may download and try the evaluation version first. The card is a 128meg Fuji Finepix type given to me by a friend to replace the 64meg model that came with the camera. Response There may be a fault with the card or camera. The only card I read in my card reader is the mini-SD card from my cellphone camera.
