Answers 0 As ever, use the tools laready at your disposal: You cannot run an MSI installation (and VSTO is clearly extracting an MSI and running it) inside another MSI. To try isolating this issue, does this happen on all machines or just some? The best solution I found so far is as mentioned in this Stack Overflow thread. In this case I simply added a restart prior to the application having trouble and it appears to have fixed the issue.
