explorer.exe error in windows 2000 professional Edwall, Washington

I can't open or click anything before it restarts again.There are solutions on microsoft for the explorer.exe error, but nothing like I have with the constant restartinghttp://support.micro...b;EN-US;Q319124 all the solutions I No idea how to do that as web searches have come up empty - or maybe this becomes obvious once I install the correct debugging tools??? I kept getting error messages -- pop-up windows with a red "X" saying explorer.exe referenced memory location 0x00000000, which could not be "read". When it gets the splash screen and I do a control alt delete, and try new task, I get a task manager error just like explorer.exe.
