fsx graphics card error Somerville, Virginia

When I noticed the service packs, I saw they said something about not installing them if I have the acceleration expansion pack. FSX will now exit. Everything went well did the install as per NickN.Installed the RTM and started fsx, everything was OK.Installed SP1 started fsx, everything was OK.Installed SP2 started fsx and got this error message: Flight Simulator will now exit." My computer is only a couple months old and I think there must be a way around this without buying a new graphics card since it

I found that when I updated the graphics drivers it also installed some other software which I didn't spot. I have updated all my drivers and reinstalled 7 and FSX several times but nothing works. Can you try completely uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics driver? If I plug the screen in after the sim loads, only a tiny corner of my main screen is used and the FSX menu moves to the second screen. I installed the new driver as per the manufacturer and even tried using Driver Sweeper in safe mode but I just can't get the FSX.cfg to rebuild with this new card. Please try the request again.

You should only have to do it once. I then reinstalled Shade and deleted the fsx.cfg and received the same error. It's not. I use that driver on my GTX560 without issues.

Perhaps redownload SP2 and try againI assume you launched FSX then rebooted the computer between SP installsThe only other item I could think of is simply a bad FSX install or This product requires a geForce3/Radeon8500 class or better graphics card. So the second graphics card and drivers do not cause a problem, but if the screen is plugged in, it will not load the sim. Since I was so anxious to start playing the missions, I didn't installed the service packs yet either, but it seems to work fine, with the exception of random crashes.

I run triple screen 2DVI x 1 HDMI, but that would be a good thought. FSX: This graphics card does not meet minimum requirements...

I installed an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 TI+ 915MHZ 3GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 and have been having issues with it. When I run FSX after installing SP2 it shows this error .....    Invalid Hardware or Driver Detected   This graphics card does not meet minimum requirements for shader support. Am I just having bad luck with the EVGA GTX 660TI? The 470 will more than handle the setup you describe. After that tried several nvidia drivers, but none of them worked. All rights reserved.

That did not solve the problem. Hope you can work your way back to where you were. Oh I see what you mean now, ok, I will try to uninstall Shade and see what happens. maxam said: ↑ ....

Which graphics card do i need if i need a new one? Then when I end the flight, the FSX menu appears on the second monitor when it normally appears on the first. its easy to do and you would then be using the vastly inferior on board GPU 0 zoran Back to top #3 takl23 takl23 Member Members 55 posts Posted 09 October maxam, 18 Oct 2012 #4 hairyspin Resource contributor Joined: 8 May 2010 Messages: 2,403 Country: maxam said: ↑ ...
