I realized this issue has a lot more to do with then just application crashes! Come on, can anyone enlighten me even a little? If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. Now the obvious disadvantages is that you're using only 1 core; but IMHO the difference without having this bug is well worth the trade off.

This could mean your host's database server is down.

only cups=1 helps ... Not only that but the program [v2.12.2] won't quit either. I am having the same problem. This was a fix to the symptoms, not the problem.
