I do know that after I did that opengl was working fine. - At some point after Mythbuntu 12.04 came out I upgraded to it using sudo apt-get dist-upgrade At this Was able to get opengl, alpha pulse, better playback performance, etc.

There is a built-in VAAPI profile playback tester with myth 0.25+fixes.. Can anyone point me in a good direction?
