I finally figured out the problem. I know some controls have this option, mine does not hence why I do it before it boots. Look in the section that explains using the card for I/O. Make sure parameters #138 Bit 7 and #3404 (SBP) Bit 2 are set to 1.

Just curious as I had a similar experience and went through all the formatting including App Guy's controller formatting and nothing worked.

i put it in the pcmcia slot in my laptop(running xp) and I could see it as a drive,but i could not copy the file SRAM0_5.FDB. Hmph. Does anyone know what this means? WHil holding those two buttons, power the control up.
