These two seems to fix the issue on the host OS which fixes any issue on the guest. You should re-check the network settings; get in touch with the person in charge of the network and have them verify the settings for you and/or help diagnose the issue. I suppose there is some documentation somewhere that explains this but why does Microsoft have to make this so damn illogical. I'm not sure how to change that, but does it matter?

Sorry if I snap at you. Win 10 after all the fixes in - still refuses to auto-connect with remembered wifi spots. Or tell it to obtain an IP address when it connects? If you put in the right static IP address and you can't get internet, either you put in the wrong IP address or it has nothing to do with your computer

If we have ever helped you in the past, please consider helping us. I have tried switching to "internal" and the problem still persists.
