The applet allows the user, before upload, to:Select multiple files on his hard drive, in a much easier way than the standard Coppermine upload form,Drag'n drop files from your favorite picture

I have this problem several week ago, and I just find : Wikipedia : And Wikipedia redirect me to the page "libjped" ! I'm afraid i don't know enough about GR or the upload applet to be able to find the problem easily, but i'm pretty sure it shares a codebase with G1 GR/applet, Better file chooser.

This thread is (or will be soon) closed. Do you still want to see the debug output? There have been some related changes in GR / the applets which were not intended to address this bug specifically, but I think they could have fixed this as well. When I run the maintenance to rebuild thumbnails/resizes, ANYTHING that I've uploaded with the applet (after that error) is all screwed up.

I got the same problem with Gallery Remote "upload failed" Then I tried to user Upload applet and here is some of the trace/debug from the Java console: --------------------------------------------------- network: Connecting the topic should be changed as its not solved for all cases. When I try to lauch it I get the following error:Java Plug-in 1.6.0_15Using JRE version 1.6.0_15-b03 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VMUser home directory = C:\Users\Valentina----------------------------------------------------c: clear console windowf: finalize objects on finalization But guess what, I still get the error that gallery does not exist, cannot find gallery_remote2.php Any new ideas?

Thanks for the help! Gallery Remote tries to write the file to /tmp/thumbs/whatever.gif (for imagemagick & i guess also for jpegtran's temp functions). I'm not sure if I was getting it with 2.0 or not, but I don't believe so. I haven't moved any of these files back to the server.

If possible, go for win2k3, in my opinion, it is an excellent upgrade and with the SP runs things like Gallery a lot better. Make sure you check that the binaries work and .properties files are setup correctly in Gallery_Remote/imagemagick and Gallery_Remote/jpegtran.

The issue was discussed in this thread, but no solution was provided and bharat was looking into it. Thanks. News: Latest JoomGallery Release en.joomgallery.netForumHelpSearchLoginRegister Welcome, Guest. But it still seems to be a very rare issue.

As I am wondering if there is some virtual php thing thats going on.... I now have the server very locked down and it is still running GR/Applet perfect with RC SP1 installed. The fix was so stupid.

I think that this is a bug. I just installed Gallery2 on a FreeBSD v5.4 box and I am receiving the same error message. I'll have to find out what happens. gregradz Joined:2004-09-20 Posts:57 Posted: Sun, 2005-01-16 15:07 Paour, he is running IIS, not Apache. Over the past year, the Upload Applet has stopped working on one, then another and last night my final Windows Vista system leaving me with no way to do bulk uploads.

I have installed the JUpload plugin, but when I click on the JUpload link I get 2 java error messages.I've attached screen shots of both errors and the Internet Explorer error I love gallery, but I thin the biggest thing letting it down is the way you upload images, it needs to hae a upload applet like the one on facebook !! If so, that means your php is working fine and the applet should see the file which means it should recognize the G2 install as it is instead of defaulting back gregradz Joined:2004-09-20 Posts:57 Posted: Sun, 2004-12-19 15:02 By the way, I am using Windows Server 2k3, it looks like tradenet is also.

Usually, problems occur during upload, so check the debug output, to see what the server answered. Thanks again, Jeremy nivekiam Joined:2002-12-10 Posts:16504 Posted: Sun, 2009-05-10 19:13 Nah, if everything is working no need to debug and troubleshoot any further.

I typed the url ( into IE, hit ENTER, and was asked if I wanted to save the .zip file (I don't know if this is right or not - java not roots. Roll it back if ou don't like it or do it on a test platform. I did like Greg and installed SP1 RC1(the only change I made to the server) and now GR has no problem connecting.

The warning includes a link suggesting a fix for the problem but the link is non-functional. We recently asked to have the .jar files resigned and met with some resistance. The plugin can't work for PHP earlier than 4.3.0. * You don't see the whole applet. * Take a look to the configuration parmeters appletWidth and appletHeight. * Your Coppermine Please login or register.Did you miss your activation email?

Can you send me a quick description of your installation, and the URL to download the tools you're using ? You should have main.php and index.php is your documents listing in your IIS site configuration. I notice you have 16M set for file size and 16MB set for post size. I must disable this option for now : too complicated for end users. Thanks for your reply.Regards Logged MrMusic Administrator Hero Member Offline Posts: 880 Re: Java Upload Error - Application Blocked

I honestly don't know how picky PHP is, try setting that to 16M for post size. Like the support? However, when I uploaded all of my images, the thumbnailas appear totally black and the image is not found when viewing the full image. network: Done.

I MIGHT try the update, it is a good RC apparently. so for now, change your .htaccess.
