Wähle deine Sprache aus. The toothpick tip didn't work, but amazingly the tape trick worked! A piece of tape over the slot should work, even if the original lock switch has been lost. I used a card reader I had - didn't work, so I bought a new one which still didn't show up on the PC or Mac.

Now I have a working camera and 2 cards! I have previously downloaded pics from the SD card, but now realise I had not formatted it first. Your password will be located within that file. the message appeared when I reinserted the card.

You might only need a simple and inexpensive USB cheap card reader to download your pictures. The fix in this case is to purchase a higher speed card for your newer high-performance camera (recommend Class 6 or better). I tried everything to fix my sd card. But I love Canon cameras so much, I was going to try until I got it.

It doesn't have to be sand, just a piece of dust can do it. THE TAPE WORKED FOR US!!!! Thank you so very much. Upon reading this post, I tried using a toothpick, & the card worked just fine after the first try!!!!!

I used an toothpick and in no time the error eliminated. If you see any discoloration, try cleaning them with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Then I saved a pic from the web and it messed up. Open Innovation Fujifilm's open innovation is about listening to the customer and innovating together.

But please remember to also read each of the Fixes listed in the article, along with user comments as they contain additional tips that the video doesn't cover.
