After you deleted the file PDFMaker.xla, the error "Compile Error in Hidden Module: Distmon" at startup of Excel shouldn't appear. finally someone was able to help me. Works great now. It not only found the module location itself - C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\XLSTART - but found several shortcuts to it in various places.
