What this batch file is doing is scripting the ftp utility using the -s option for the command line utility. You also have the option to prepend a leading 0 if you wish, to help with sorting by filename or consistency of the naming convention. The error could be caused by the FTP server being down. I just want it to not delete any file that does not upload.
