When I filter for modules by Category - Location Rules Geocoder does not show up. Line 1134 is this: unset($items[$field['field_name'] .'_add_more']); The content type uses text, node reference and decimal fields. I replaced a field item with a string instead of an array. This type has a lot of CCK text fields - single-value and multi-value. I am very impressed. Watchdog log also another error when editing the affected content type: Warning: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in check_plain() (line 1151 of /var/www/drupal/includes/bootstrap.inc).

I got this error with fields generated by node reference More context information: http://drupal.org/node/989254 I did a small patch to prevent this error. Since I'm starting with $form[$var] = array( I won't have any artifacts from the original field, will I? Since there was no response to the previous message in several weeks, marking it fixed unless you find it is still a problem in latest version. After you assign $arr2[$key] = $arr2[$key][0]; $arr2[$key] becomes the string "ivr" and $arr2[$key][0] is the first character of the string and can't be unset share|improve this answer answered Feb 16 at

What I did: (1) Tested for module conflicts: I disabled all my contrib modules, and started enabling them back one by one until the error reappeared.

(2) Exported all custom content type definitions, and then deleted all the content types. Pierre.

I have no clue yet what might cause the problem with existing date field, but at least I know it can work. So I decide which field name to use based on thecontent type, and then change the text field to a hidden field like this:$form[$var] = array('#type' => 'hidden','#value' => $nid,);The form Below the database settings for the date field. Usually a print_r($form_state['values']['field_fieldname'], true); will let you know.

Then you can safely do this: $node = node_submit($form_state['values']); node_save($node); and all the work is done for you! Can we please improve this piece of code. It definitely sounds like your date settings got corrupted somehow, and using Content Copy was doing that before it got fixed. Then, I was able to create and modify nodes.

Part of my confusion was that I unset an array earlier, but I realize now I was creating a new array and unsetting the old one, not overwriting one like this If anyone is interested the error was caused by feeding incorrect variables into node_save.
