excel runtime error 1004 showalldata Conesville, Ohio

Well, I'm getting close to the end of my contract and this particular spreadsheet could only be better if it were written in Access. There is probably a combination of these two codes that will work, but I'm not getting it. Not the answer you're looking for? Is there a command similar to ActiveSheet.ShowAllData that won't return an error if nothing is autofiltered?

Or, better yet, it will do the following, IF the sheet is filtered: * Remember what the filter settings are * Run an ActiveSheet.ShowAllData * Run the remainder of the macro I want to have Excel UNFILTER the worksheet automatically upon saving so that the next user views the UNfiltered worksheet. I'm really impressed . The problem I'm having is accounting for when there isn't an autofilter applied and the ShowAllData errors out.
