Comment 15 Andreas Sturmlechner 2013-09-13 21:25:04 UTC No time for bisecting yet, but at least the certainty that it doesn't happen with the radeon box - that's only able to plug RE: Radeon OSS with vdpau (howto) - fritsch - 2013-10-03 20:39 Following command is a one liner: Code: sudo dpkg -i --force-all /var/cache/apt/archives/libwayland-client0_1.2.1-1~r~gd_amd64.deb /var/cache/apt/archives/libwayland-server0_1.2.1-1~r~gd_amd64.deb /var/cache/apt/archives/libwayland-cursor0_1.2.1-1~r~gd_amd64.deb

In that case it makes no sense to use bitstream audio at all, just disable it. Later version might have performance regressions when software decoding.

Boot time is a little faster - by about 2 seconds. the bug should not appear anymore. Attached the dmesg with the new kernel. It doesn't mention your specific problem, though.

Use your standard arch way of installing packages and just add the relevant patches to your aur build source. This change has been made by an automated script, maintained by the Ubuntu Kernel Team. But I did during the initial testing stages (beta releases). NONE of these show up in dmesg.

gtdaqua (gtdaquitaine) wrote on 2011-04-29: #47 Solved!!!!! In fact, changing monitors actually triggers the kernel to re-request edid, which fails with each new monitor attached, where as "sudo get-edid" has no problem. Fertig
