gentoo openoffice error 65280 Wimbledon, North Dakota

Why ? Will post with a further report since this issue seems more serious than I at first suspected. I know what's wrong. It later fails in unoxml because the linked-in lib is not found > anymore: The error itself is quite similar, although the undefined reference itself is different (excerpt from above link):

Do I have to clean upsomething after this failed compilation attempt?O-oh! If you need more verbose instructionsthan this, just ask.Thank you so much for your input! Build failed!Well, I guess I can install the precompiled version. I was digging through the emerge logs, and I have successful builds of OO-3.0.0 from a couple months ago.

Function src_compile, Line 489, Exitcode 1!!! Then I'd like to get rid of the rest and add it to hda6 (Gentoo/).I had the same situation (with unneede SuSE and lack of space). So far everything works great. I'd read something that suggested maybe I should update my kernel, so I got around to that last week, but it doesn't change the error.

revdep-rebuild says the linking is fine. I do not have java as a USE flag because as I understood that it was not really necessary anymore, (please correct me if I am wrong ) If not, any Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK. The OO rebuild is still running after those fixes, but not holding my breath.

Neumann 2003-06-07 19:41:21 UTC PermalinkRaw Message Hi,emerging (compiling) OpenOffice I got this error:collect2: ld returned 1 exit statusdmake: Error code 1, while making '../unxlngi4.pro/lib/libsw641li.so'---* TG_SLO.MK *---ERROR: Error 65280 occurred while making/var/tmp/portage/openoffice-1.0.3-r1/work/oo_1.0.3_src/sw/util!!! What is the smartestway to reclaim the space of my old distro? I take it regardless some dependancies are still needed even though emerge will not pick this up ? *edit* It appears for some reason the java environment got borked somewhere, and It is currently set to "/opt/sun-jre-bin-1.6.0.22" Although a few lines later: Code: !!!

I used the free space for /var by booting to the minimalinstall cd and making the new filesystem on my old rh partition, thenmoving everything in /var over to my new ERROR: app-office/openoffice-1.0.3-r1 failed.!!! I know what's wrong. Just for the record I am trying to understand what went wrong, if so in what order.

internal Now I wait for the compile. Build failed!Well, I guess I can install the precompiled version. Now If I scroll back through the emerge log from before I can see a lot of other java stuff from before when it failed with the USE=java that were emerged Nothing I can search up or think of seems to do the trick.

The only similar error I could find on google (http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]××××××××××.org/msg391683.html) appears independent of OO and implicates libcrypto as a problem. I don't know if it makes a difference, but for me, emerge uses /var/tmp/portage/app-office/openoffice-2.0.4/work/ ^^^^^^^^^^ for $WORKDIR. --- Vladimir -- Vladimir G.

After looking over things I came to the conclusion based on whatever I saw to rebuild my kernel. Then i edited fstabto mount my new partition at /var.
