fee error nikon d100 Leland, North Carolina

I don't have any other "D" lenses laying around. I just experienced the same thing with my d750….battery was low on my last photos; I took out the battery and recharged it; when I put the battery back in the Inspect the lens contacts for grease or dirt and wipe them clean with a lint free cloth. If anybody did the same letting battery in camera for couple of months and got same issue, please update me the resolution ,,…..

How? So I can use my battery grip again.Thankyou so much ReplyComment Policy: Although our team at Photography Life encourages all readers to actively participate in discussions, we reserve the right to It does not appear to be a lens issue to me as I tried 3 different lenses.. However that didn't fix it.

But this time no luck…. It was odd, Kingston replaced it and cards have been fine for 2+ years. It saved the day and saved at least hundreds of dollars in unneeded repairs that I was expecting. Switched the camera to manual focus, clicked the shutter and camera is working fine.

What you have to do is lock the smallest (in this case, f22) aperture in place using the tiny black slider switch on the right side of the lens (as you Reply 36) Webgraf October 19, 2013 at 10:58 pmHi! harpo95993's gear list:harpo95993's gear list Sony RX100 Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D Nikon D7000 Nikon D7100 Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR +18 more Reply Reply with quote Hope that helps with some more diagnostics...

thank you Reply 7.2.1) Jay September 29, 2015 at 3:00 pmBattery died while I was using the camera. Reply 1.2.1.1) Sorry 4 my boring joke November 26, 2015 at 10:10 amI have worked hard to comply my boring joke. Then the D90 started doing it too, and thought maybe it was my new lens (28-70 2.8). Just couldn't afford to change all my lenses etc.

Didnt work for me initially, so I suspect that it may have something to do with the cold, as I had some problem in -25C before, where the mirror didnt return I got this error on my LCD screen today. Reply 14) Marco March 21, 2012 at 3:04 amMy "Err" message started to show on a D3s after the camera has been at Nikon for cleaning etc. I took the camera in for repair.

The camera reports FEE even when the lens is set to minimum aperture? This took a while to discover the problem and solution. The problem and solution was the Metering selection. Transcript The interactive transcript could not be loaded. Try another lens and see what happens.

FEE is supposed to mean "the camera expects the aperture ring to be set to minimum, but it isn't", so something in that mechanism would be where I'd check. It sounds like the shutter is working but no images. What lenses can I use on the Nikon D5500, D5300, D5200, D5100, D5000, D3300, D3200, D3100, D3000, D60, D40X, and D40?

The non-G lens have a depth-of-field control. I was panicking a bit since we are leaving for a vacation next week and I am planning to spend much of it using a camera!

I don't know whether these people are properly identifying the issue. When the ERR appeared the first time I tried with different lenses though. I had three Nikon cameras prior to the digital age and they were much More reliant. News Hot Shots SmugMug Need some help with your New SmugMug Site? Your 24-70 won't have anything engaging with the aperture follower tab, so this may be a difference between the two lenses.

So I removed my lens from the camera (Nikon D600), on the left side of the camera was a spring loadef metal lever. This part is 1-1/2" long and very thin.

may be know for solutions for this problems. Reply 1.2) Jame March 30, 2012 at 2:22 amHi Nasim, I had this camera own by my niece, its nikon d60, the subject are too dark even when i see through when half pressed the Err appears but when the shutter completes, the picture did not register w/ my sdcard. I hope it will help others.

After reading your post it occurred to me that the last photo I took the battery died. When you want to control the aperture, as in the manual and aperture priority modes, just move that switch to the unlocked position. Can I be right there? So, the 50mm is the problem not the camera .

I have a D70 as well but never experienced any problems. I just cleaned the contacts and everything works fine. It wont release the flash.
