I tried to render what was thought to be a normal ProRes 422 Quicktime clip created in SnapProX - it imported normally and even played in the browser but didn't render. I have no idea how to get this back. The full error messege is "Codec not found. Why is it so much better than Compressor? Moreover, "high precision" rendering is done in YUV space, which is what Compressor processes in.

I honestly like some things in Final Cut over Avid....but the overall performance/reliability I don't think is quite there yet.
