Reload to refresh your session. MachineType: To be filled by O.E.M. Any ideas? I realized that Linux Mint 13 comes with a uvcvideo.ko which works out of the box with my webcam (+firmware).

i guess the best solution would be to try to get rid of the "full" linux-media, use the stock kernel modules and only replace the uvcdriver module - if that works Ubuntu Logo, Ubuntu and Canonical Canonical Ltd. Tank you very much for your help! I removed the new compiled modules and uninstalled with yast the whole thing to start again.

Did you build UVC yourself? Thank you. Please refer to our Privacy Policy or Contact Us for more details You seem to have CSS turned off. Start a New Discussion New to the community?

Tank you very much for your help! After that I was able to compile v4l2loopback and now have another video device in /dev/video1. The system told me that the module had the wrong format. Last edited by Script Warlock; June 17th, 2009 at 01:49 AM.
