I create a standard deviation cell A2 = STDEV() BUT instead of selecting C1,D5,G21 for the argument, I SHIFT-click on cell A1. This chart shows custom error bars applied by selecting a range in the dialog above. For clarity, the chart is redrawn with only the Y error bars. Tip: You can remove error bars immediately after you add them to the chart by clicking Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar or by pressing CTRL+Z.
