They have a hosted and self-hosted solution which "is Open Source and runs on virtually any server platform with a minimal footprint." And exports to ADP's payroll. This includes Trace and Log files, Cached applications and applets and Installed applications and Applets.  Then I turn off automatic updates.  I cant have a Java update itself.  In the security tab, change John White wrote: I'm just considering ripping out eTime and putting in a 3rd party solution that will export to ADP's payroll solutions. Valid error numbers are all nonzero; errno is never set to zero by any system call or library function.

All the error names specified by POSIX.1 must have distinct values, with the exception of EAGAIN and EWOULDBLOCK, which may be the same. errno is thread-local; setting it in one thread does not affect its value in any other thread. Just does not make sense but sounds like many others have the same issue. Creating your account only takes a few minutes.

The only "fix" we found was to set the JRE to use hard-coded proxy settings which is not optimal but strangely seems to function fine even off the corporate network even We ran a report on spiceworks, and a quarter of all calls are related to Java issues with e-time. Just got off the phone with someone at TimeTrex. TimeTrex looks like a nice solution as well.  I like anything open source, so maybe that will be considered when we review our contract next.
