flex error #1001 digest mismatch with rsl framework_3.0.0.477.swf Ord, Nebraska

I don't know what edfrk from the other post will do besides push out a new policy to the 10K+ users, but a more better browser sniffer will have to be If your catalog.xml contains the same digests, then your framework.swc is correct. As you said I changed the compiler setting to SDK 3.1 with Flex Builder 3.0.1. I ask because this means the framework RSL will be copied from multiple projects to the same location. He may be talking about other issues, but this is certainly an issue even if it is brought on by misconfigured libraries. I ask because this means the framework RSL will be copiedfrom multiple projects to the same location. Thanks again...

I hope we can put this to rest. I'm using the same version of Flash Player as the users with the problem (10,0,45,2 ). Umm....WHAT? I try to access the application from others machine those never accessed the application before.

Redeploythe matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library"I have Flex Builder 3.0, compiled using the frame work library pathas RSL.

Open temp.swc and look at the unsigned digest of temp.swf. Thanks for your patience. Re: RSL Error 1001 Darrell Loverin Feb 6, 2008 7:07 PM (in response to cxf02) I also work on the Flex team. So what happens is the argument line --digest.rsl-file @{rsl-dir}/@{swc-name}.swf cannot find the swf that was created by the optimizer since the swc-name variable does not match the name that was created

Since the swf is not signed, it has a digest that links it with the application to provide security protection. It sound like you are using sdk 3.0.189925 because the RSL signed by Adobe, framework_3.0.189825.swz, is loading correctly when you use a Player that knows how to load signed RSLs (version Please see the tutorial link below for an example of how to modify RSL information in Flex Builder. Okay, I used the ant file, and had to modify it to get it to work. Tracy, why don't you upgrade and see if you get the same results? This change would make the --output argument look like this --output '@{rsl-dir}/@{swc-name}.swf'. Other developers are able to access the application sucessfully deployed on my localhost. Please i would appreciate if you can urgently help as i have to test changes made to the application

Re: RSL Error 1001 cxf02 Feb 15, 2008 3:52 PM (in response to cxf02) It's the same problem on either type of machine. Re: RSL Error 1001 maziak Feb 7, 2008 12:43 AM (in response to Darrell Loverin) Hi Darrell I did this test as you suggested, from Windows, running our app with Flash SureshVytla 2008-09-10 16:58:58 UTC PermalinkRaw Message Hi Loverin,Thanks for your detailed reply. Please turn JavaScript back on and reload this page.

I was assuming that the issue was the same on both operating systems since it only began after i installed the latest 3.0 beta, compiled and redeployed. I tried to use the ${build.number} again, but it must be getting assigned from the metadata of the optimizer, I can't quite figure it out. Anyhow here I am mentioning the steps what I followed. You can tell me if I'm wrong, if it matters.

The missing RSL was a one time mistake and shouldn't happen again. You can run the application successfully from FlexBuilder but when you deploy the project to your server and run it you get a digest mismatch error. The library's you are using were hosed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- The problem with framework_3.0.189825.swf is that it was not packaged in the sdk when it should of been and you ended up

Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 19. The digest should have been correct, you were just using a framework_3.0.189825.swf that did not match the digest. Darrell, I can give you full access to my linux server if this will help you. It doesn't occur if you run it on the development machine.

If the community begins releasing applications compilied with 3.0, and with all the 9.0.x.x plugins out there, if there is no prompt other than this RSL issue popping up, it will It never happens on my development machines.

If that was correct I would then verify the RSLs that are deployed match the digest in the application.Verifying the digest in the application:Compile your application with "-keep". When I upgraded to Flex Builder3.0.1, removed the old entries of RSL from framework.swc and re-entered.Thanks,Suresh Darrell Loverin 2008-09-09 17:07:20 UTC PermalinkRaw Message OK. Re: RSL Error 1001 Greyswandir Dec 16, 2010 11:51 PM (in response to cxf02) There are 2 ways to fix this problem:1) In project's properties->Flex Build Path change the combo to I finally got it to work, by hard coding the name in like so… OpenElementTag--arg line="--digest.rsl-file @{rsl-dir}/framework_3.0.189825.swf --digest.swc-path @{swc-dir}/@{swc-name}.swc"--CloseElementTag I'll get back into my Ant documentation and see if I can

What does this mean? Please correct me if I have misunderstood what is happening. I should probably mentioned the steps whatI did. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 6.

I was cleanly build the swfs and copied on the server. But by doing this, then my .swf sizes get fugly and so it's not a viable solution for the long term. I don't have a computer here that it doesn't work on, even my wife's machine runs it just fine and she doesn't have a development environment, so I'm a little confused
