This is no more risk to the workstation than local logins, and no more risk to the network, as the admin rights are local to that workstation. Cause This error can be returned when the client PC is sending an invalid User ID (one that does not exist on the IBM i). Every time I attempted to connect to the share drive, I would get the error, "An extended error has occurred." Your help is greatly appreciated.
