Now when I pulled off the harmonic balancer ( crank pulley) the timing chain cover gor cracked near the crank position sensor so that's why i replaced it in case it Also what is the normal Idle RPM when the engine is warm. what would it have to do with the throttle body if it's an ignition problem, all the sensors on the new one came off the old one like the throttle position If they were both the same length it'd be a breeze.

The idle is a set value in program that is added to for various other input conditions such as cold start, A/C use, added electrical power demands etc. I know I have to replace the cover but I didnt think it would make the car do that I put the pulley on right it went on like the old Ask Your Own Ford Question Customer: replied6 years ago. Expert: A. Your support is greatly appreciated. You could have more than one issue at the same time. Thinking it was an automatic transmission issue not an engine issue, I took it to a transmission shop and had all the solenoids replaced.

Expert: A. The 320 code is a detected erratic input to the PCM from the crank sensor. If you are not having an inspection, go ahead and disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the PCM. The sensor monitors the voltage difference between a resistance which is on the battery circuit for ignition coil.

You may have to trace the wiring back tot he ECU (Computer). Here's some pictures because I'm having trouble removing the fan clutch lol. I don't know if this helps but the only time it throws the 320 is when it is bucking in drive going over 5mph. Penland replied6 years ago.

Do you think the cover being messed us has anything to do with it. Jon 9 mile skid, on a ten mile ride. Genius, and simple. the new pulley goes to the crank and the old pulley connects to the outside of the new one, and uses a long bolt to hold the two in place on

Make sure that the wiring is ok around the components you replaced . Jon 9 mile skid, on a ten mile ride. Ask Your Own Ford Question Customer: replied6 years ago. You can use a used cover, just get new gaskets.

All others: Loss of PIP. I found a video on youtube illustrating how to remove it, but he uses just one single wrench and left me more confused than when I started. Expert: A. Why do you guess and throw parts at it before you find out what the 320 code is.

just my opinion, but i think it's cheesey to buy a tool, use it and return it. Join Today. Hot as a pistol but cool inside. 2000 Mountaineer 1998 Mountaineer "Turdle"-gone 1993 Convertible "Vitamin D Wagon" Sold also Turdle, January 17, 2013 #22 BDShort Active Member Joined: January 11, 2013
