Sorry I missed your post. The truck kit also comes with a muffler, but it is not suitable for a boat as it is not sealed. The glowing ember which got blown out the heater exhaust made me think : carbon build-up. 2 ) Thanks for identifying the unit. 3 ) Will look for blockages. 4 ) Please try the request again.

If the heat exchanger still has an unwarped flame guide(the small doughnut shaped ring that the flame goes through), and the clips for the lier are still mainly intact, then it I'll let you know what transpires. We did not run it briefly every month as recommended by ESPAR, and it has ceased to work properly (turns off after two minutes). You could take the motor off and have it rebrushed just to be sure it has lots of life in it.

The new exhaust clamps are made of S/S not like the old ones that rust out. It does a fantastic job of muffling, but has a list price of $274.00. The pulsing stopped momentarily while I was holding the magnet, but then started in again when I removed the magnet.
