Found this post and downloaded the rollupdate 6 and re-installed and let it finish doing it's thing. I created an empty folder and applied the update and OWA then worked like a charm. It does NOT register with DNS, the FQDN for the private is svrname.privdomain.local and does correctly register with DNS.   Both websites have FQDN certs installed based on priv/pub nics/ips. If I delete ma OWA virtual folder on IIS, when I will want to recreate it, what are the option I have to configure for it to work properly ? (I We did not experience the problem with the services running at 100% -- just the OWA problem. My 8.1.436.0 folder was empty for the script parts the 1st time I try to install this rollup.

But changing to anonymous on this folder removed that problem. Worked perfectly for me after applying Rollup 8 for Service Pack 3 broke it. and then reinstall Exchange 2007. I have an empty directory but is full and correct.
