exception error c0000013 Cumberland Foreside, Maine

The error disappeared but Norton would not work & upshot is I would need to uninstall and reinstall if I wanted this restore point to function as before. Next, with all enabled on my system, I changed the zip to drive D and the DVD burner to drive C. Decided to uninstall and problem solve from this point. by R.

I pretend to understand nothing. Thanks so much for the solution. I had been having this problem since July of this year, and had all but given up on finding a solution. Now one way to stop that is to stop it starting up at all, but I couldn't figure out what it was and I'd wasted the whole weekend trying other stuff,

Thanks Improbulus, you made one person happy today! :) 14 December, 2007 14:29 Anonymous said... Should I change this to C: or will it cause a problem? 08 October, 2008 13:27 Improbulus said... It certainly did for me. Followed your directions and it worked like a charm!

However, the Mebroot rootkit since 2007. Didn't get rid of the message. If you have any USB cables connected to the computer or any flash drives connected disconnect them and the press cancel... So I did that, after like the zillionth unsuccessful reboot, and yay - it worked!(I'm giving this post the stopirritatingme tag in honour of Tom Morris!)Tags: Windows XP, Vista, Windows -

Tried manually removing all QT references I could find. In my case, it had to be a Windows update. My hard drive is on C and changing the letters of my removable drives didn't work. Following the instructions I discovered that the boot drive was H (on an old toshiba laptop) and had always been that.

Here are the few steps to resolve this problem, please follow these steps. _

Reply alsirson May 1, 2014 at 10:02 am Thanks! This has something to do with Windows Security Update. The .wav wouldn't play, so I had to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close out Real Player and GUESS what should appear?!?!? You will get a box where you have to type regedit. Restarted and no error msg. I changed the 4 card reader slots and the dvd driver's letter and "salvation". Do the same even for the card slot/drive that does have a card in it (if it does), just in case.
