F9 is something else (I have XP). I have to go into Task Manager to close Excel. The program only reads from this database, no writing done to it. I figured i would uninstall it and test the code again.

You said that it posts data on sheets. that an If statement needs a true or false test then the result, however in this case the If statement is "If objSW.Count", what are you testing for, "then 'new". It has worked for me in the past. Keep hitting F8 until an error message appears. Open the file for Input or change the write-protection attribute of the file. This just does a few things with version lies for Windows and a few core libraries, and sets up some simulated DOS memory structures (extended memory, etc.).

I have noticed it does try to step though my code at least the first one before it fail as below ie.Document.frames.Item("_MAIN").Document.All.Item("Owner").Value = Range("c54") Formatting tags added by mark007 Also Top Best Answer 0 Mark this reply as the best answer?(Choose carefully, this can't be changed) Yes | No Saving...
