gallery2 dcraw error Transylvania, Louisiana

The attached archive contains a couple patches. Index: =================================================================== RCS file: /cvsroot/gallery/gallery2/modules/dcraw/,v retrieving revision 1.8 retrieving revision 1.9 diff -u -d -r1.8 -r1.9 --- 17 Jan 2006 01:52:01 -0000 1.8 +++ 5 Apr 2006 22:52:09 For #1, you probably don't want to mess with all the extensions. If you rotate the image, you rotate and heavily modify and reduce the image quality of the full size image.

Within this forum, there has been mention about mime types, and the error message seems to point towards that, but I don't seem to be able to sort through the code I did a quick search of the sources for that module and I didn't see the event getting created. However, you can imagine that the reason I didn't add that step is because that's the first thing that "dcraw $image" does anyway. One can't link files in original back to the album, nor allow users direct access to it, or recover correctly.

make[1]: stopped in /usr/ports/www/gallery2 *** Error code 1 Stop. Comment 25 Jon Ciesla 2009-04-21 09:29:41 EDT Please test -7, about to hit -testing. A totally alternate implementation would involve changing the directory structure, so that instead of storing the original at original/myalbum/myimage.jpg, it could be also be found at original/myalbum/myimage.jpg/myimage.cr2. Could this be a image toolkit issue, or maybe php.ini?

Examples of images not showing up, but thumbs working: Example of images showing up, but not for all image sizes (full size says 92x92): It seems like I need to examine the image to find out what the detected type is. Attend the live webcast and join the prime developer group breaking into this new coding territory! You won't find a better test than that.

yum says it's obsoleted by the gallery2 package, however it doesn't seem to work. For example, the exif module must run after autorotate module in order for the "Orientation" EXIF information to be accurate. When I select add photos I still only see .jpg files, no CR2.

Exactly what we need... However, I like your implementation of all the error checking/etc in the module for dcraw, and think that quite a bit more should be done with the exiftool to mimic this.

I decided to give a status update rather than deleting my original post in case others encounter the same problem. Regardless, I've incorporated rudimentary exiftool_detect() function and disregard the exec if it returns false. The other has to do with multiple packages containing identical file paths which get collapsed onto the same content when the directory is replaced with a symlink. In G2 we stored and took great pains to keep and not destroy the original photo.

Depending on your answers, I may need to see a copy of your log to know what is going on. My watermarks (in plugins_data folder) got corrupted somehow in the migration and were somehow causing the images to not render properly. suprsidr Joined:2005-04-17 Posts:8339 Posted: Mon, 2014-03-03 17:58 Looking like a permission issue. -s ________________________________ All New jQuery Minislideshow for G2/G3 justinco Joined:2014-03-03 Posts:8 Posted: Mon, 2014-03-03 19:21 suprsidr wrote: Looking The one thing that it is doing do is it is renaming the raw file from .CR2 to .jpg.

I wish I had good news for you about the extension bug. Oh, just another thing, I have also a weird problem with the flash uploader that I could not explain (even after 2 hours of search) and maybe it also happened to But no big deal indeed since the file is added as wanted. Right now we strictly have, thumb, resize, full size.

Deleted caches multiple times, re-ran the upgrade tool, tried various rewrite settings, no luck. with my photos auto-rotated Summary: rawphoto autorotate exif Thanks! It seems to be very helpful for lot of us. Comment 34 Michael Cronenworth 2009-05-26 00:34:44 EDT gallery2-2.3-11 has major problems.

Does it just offer you the converted jpeg? This is all that there is in the log when I uploaded some CR2 files today: sjbauer Joined:2012-06-07 Posts:3 Posted: Wed, 2012-06-13 In the meantime, you could remove the "-t 0" arguments as a workaround. And would also be somewhat cumbersome for entire php libraries (great gobs of files), while being quite workable for fonts(one or two at most, typically).

Thanks to everyone for your assistance. However somehow I'm now unable to use it with 'server add'. Everything looks fine but it doesn't do anything with my NEF images. FYI %pretrans was added not only so that directories could be replaced with a symlink, but also so that SELinux policy could be instantiated at a single point in time. Mostly the issue is that the reporting is misleading, but yeah it's kind of a bug. And it would not preserve the EXIF data when people download the generated images from the site. Of course, the EXIF information isn't getting preserved correctly right now, so the rotation is not happening.

Your fix for the second problem looks good.
