The "Hide from Exchange address lists" option is on the Exchange Advanced tab in the users AD entry. I had no problems moving mb's from the first set of servers (ex2000 -> ex2007). I am not sure where to look on DomainA for the problem.

I recommend making those changes on the oldest AD in the list and replicating it to the others. Make sure the account is enabled in Active Directory and also not hidden from Exchange Lists (for display in the GAL). Failed to open mailbox with error: ClassFactory cannot supply requested class, error code: -1056749262 I have 2 ex2000 servers that arebeing migrated to 2 ex2007 servers.

Just one more question is the OSa standard build or a company specific build? Then retry to move the mailbox to the other server. These errors occur when the synchronization occurs, and OWA archive access fails also with error "...enterprise vault server is currently unavailable". In other exbpa reports, any found errors are explicit, is it the same with the permissions report?

I had no problems moving mb's from the first set of servers (ex2000 -> ex2007). It fails on opening the 2000 store.     Proposed as answer by KotmanTechnology Monday, December 19, 2011 7:19 PM Monday, May 14, 2007 4:09 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign Office 365 Exchange Advertise Here 769 members asked questions and received personalized solutions in the past 7 days. I have compared Mailbox rights between the 2 and while there are differences, I made the DomainA account look like a 'good' account and it still failed.

The "Hide from Exchange address lists" option is on the Exchange Advanced tab in the users AD entry. Also make sure to replicate any changes you make in AD to all the My latest test was to simply enable 200 test mailboxes (all on the same server / storage group) and let EV at them. The mailboxes didn't even appear until I added an ALIAS to them. I have tried the move with both the console and powershell I ran /preparedomain in each domain prior to installing the first ex2007 server. "Ed Crowley [MVP]" wrote: Bentley Reply

After putting them back in the GAL (remove checkmark "Hide from addresslist") I dismounted and remounted the store were they located. Any suggestions? This is NOT an issue of the account being disabled or hidden. Thanks 0 Kudos Reply « Previous 1 2 Next » Contact Privacy Policy Terms & Conditions

What I'm most interested in is this: how do I completely remove Outlook, MAPI and everything to do with it from a server so I can start from scratch?

I've a gut feeling I'll need to rebuild the servers. That shouldn't take long but I've only done "DR" with a professional sitting with me for guidance, but I did take notes error moving mailboxes - Microsoft Exchange Moving mb from ex2000 to ex2007, I get : Error occurred in the step: Opening source mailbox. It was a Service Account mailbox. I'm provisioning Exchange 2007 accounts and for the most part things work fine.

This is the second Exchange 2007 installation, although this one is in another site. I do not think it is a problem with the ex2007 server because I was able to move a user located in domainB to both servers.
