Whenever I try and enable cpu frequency scaling, I get the following: Code: [[email protected] grub]# modprobe acpi-cpufreq FATAL: Error inserting acpi_cpufreq (/lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6/kernel/arch/i386/kernel/cpu/cpufreq/acpi-cpufreq.ko): No such device I'm pretty much stumped. At the moment the code is available on the bazaar repository (https://launchpad.net/samsung-tools) and probably I will release it as version 2.0. I hacked samsung-tools to use samsung-laptop to get stuff done. I tried modprobe cpufreq_ondemand, and that worked without error messages, however, the CPU frequency scaling applet for Gnome doesn't seem to work still (which is how I want to control the I expect you also do not get C2/C3 with the new kernel?

and guess what .. anyone can help? When inserting modules, no message at all is good... It solves the problem for me For what it's worth, even with samsung-laptop blacklisted and samsung-backlight loaded, I still had the backlight problem under Linux 3.0 but YMMV.voRia wrote:On my NC10, Thanks for any help.
