Some people have had success with other distributions, but they've had to work to make them compliant, and it's not worth the time and trouble honestly. 1 members found this The whole point of this endeavor was to minimize the Xcode dependency… Is there no generic unistd.h for UNIX-based systems? –user4664340 Mar 30 '15 at 23:25 The Xcode headers Physically locating the server Replace lines matching a pattern with lines from another file in order New tech, old clothes How would you help a snapping turtle cross the road? Hi, I'm trying to compile some code using gcc. g++ -o build/opt/access_tracing.os But got another error: build/opt/config.cpp: In constructor ‘Range::Range(std::string)’: build/opt/config.cpp:314:17: error: format ‘%ld’ expects argument of type ‘long int’, but argument 4 has type ‘std::vector::size_type {aka unsigned int}’ don't define USE_JASPER everything builds correctly, but with jasper I am getting the same error as the asker. We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox.

The Microsoft Visual C++ compiler and O.S. I don't know why it was there in the first place. I still haven't been able to compile it though. This page has some more details if you don't want to install the entire Xcode package, you can get away with the command line tools only.
