I do plan on continuing this on the Hard Drive Forum, 2 WD HDs fail on same system in 3- months, by quoting WDs suggestions and so on. I've made a note of the links just in case the problem re-occurs at a later date.......Hope not!! Maybe not identical one, but many others. Thing is I have no idea how to use it.

I tried a "sfc /scannow" in cmd and that finished and said it had found and corrected errors in system files, after that I attempted to do a system restore, but Ive tried disabling it, but it didn't stay disabled permanently. I switched everything off and left it for while.I then decided to try a System Restore, but first have one more go at a normal boot.This time it all went well, Just my 2 cents worth!!!!
